Results of Essay Competition

Wandering Souls of Sikkim had organised NEEV: A Foundation for Better Future, An Inter School Scholastic Festival at Pakyong, East Sikkim on 3rd November 2018.

Inter School Essay Writing Competition was held as a part of the festival, where students were asked to write essays on any Sikkimese festival of their choice. Competition was divided into two categories viz. Secondary Level     (Class 9-10) & Senior Secondary Level (Class 11-12). 

Essay Papers were evaluated on the basis of Language, Content & Neatness by Mr. Bibhushan Dhungyal, Assistant Controller of Exams, Sikkim Manipal University & Lecturer, Sikkim Manipal Institute of Medical Sciences. 

Following participants are adjudged winners in the respective categories:

SECONDARY LEVEL: 

WINNER: Miss. Prajambika Sharma, Govt. Secondary School, Sudunglakha. 

RUNNER UP: Miss. Anisha Chettri, Govt. Secondary School, Aho Kisan.

SENIOR SECONDARY LEVEL:

WINNER: Miss. Anupama Upreti, Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Mamring. 

RUNNER UP: Miss Anjali Chettri, Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Namcheybong. 

Top 4 essays in both the categories will be published in our website shortly. We express our heartfelt gratitude to Govt JHS, Pakyong Bajar for providing us classrooms to organise the essay competition.

We are grateful to Mr. Bibhushan Dhungyal for taking up the tiring responsibility of evaluating the essay papers. Our gratitude to all the participants and hearty congratulations to all the winners.

Prizes and Certificates of all the winners will be sent to their respective schools shortly.
