A Reading Corner installed at Government Secondary School, Pacheykhani by Wandering Souls of Sikkim was inaugurated by Shri S S Bakhim, Honorable Adhakshya, East District Zilla Panchayat on December 17, 2018.
Installed with an objective of imbibing reading habits amongst the students the reading corner is comprised of a wide range of books.
Zilla Adhakshya congratulated Wandering Souls of Sikkim for the initiative and called upon the students to take maximum advantage of the reading corner and use it as a storehouse of knowledge.
Headmaster of Pacheykhani School D P Khatiwara thanked WSOS for setting up the reading corner.
The inauguration ceremony was also attended by Challamthang Pacheykhani Zilla Panchayat Leela Sharma, WSOS Co-Founder Pranay Khatiwara, Gram Panchayats, SMC Members, Parents, School Heads & teachers from various schools around Pakyong, Students and others.
