Winter Classes for X & XII students organised by Zilla and Gram Panchayats of Amba, Taza, and Bering Tareythang GPUs concluded on 30th January 2023. The classes were conducted at Mamring, Pakyong in collaboration with Wandering Souls of Sikkim.
Around 50 students from various schools attended the winter classes conducted to help them in their preparation for the upcoming Board Examinations.
The classes were conducted by six teachers namely, Tripti Adhikari, Sanjay Chettri, Sandeep Kafley, Jiwan Dahal, Saroj Dahal and Pranay Khatiwara. They were felicitated during the closing ceremony.
The closing ceremony was attended by Rhenock MLA, Shri Bishnu Kr. Khatiwara as the Chief Guest along with Zilla Panchayats Dr. Subadra Dangal, Amba Taza TC and Smt. Ranjana Rasaily, Bering Sudunglakha TC, Panchayat President Ms. Anjana Chettri, Amba GP and Ms. Samjana Pradhan, Bering Tareythang GP and other Panchayat Members of all the there organising GPUs, GPK functionaries, officials from the education dept., parents, students and others.
Chief Guest in his speech appreciated the initiative and called upon the students to study well and come out with good results in the examination.
