Wandering Souls of Sikkim organized its inter-school festival titled NEEV: A Foundation for Better Future at Tareythang Secondary School on 7th March 2024. The festival was supported by Hon’ble Zilla Panchayat, Dr. Subadra Dangal and saw the participation of about 70 students from 8 schools around Amba and Bering Tareythang in various competitive events like quiz, read-aloud, spell bee, creative writing, etc.
Various competitions were judged by Shri P P Luitel, Principal, Puspanjali School, Mamring.

Ayushka Rizal of Tareythang Secondary School and Akriti Chettri of Mamring Senior Secondary School secured first and second position respectively in the Read Aloud Competition.
Bijayata Kafley of Tareythang Secondary School secured first position in the creative writing competition followed by Mahesh Karki of Amba Secondary School in the second position.
Anurag Sharma of Mamring Senior Secondary School and Pratiksha Sharma of Amba Secondary School secured first and second position respectively in the spell check competition.
The team comprising Sindhu Dangal and Anumita Luitel from Puspanjali School, Mamring won the junior quiz competition followed by a team comprising Anjalika Kafley and AbhinavKafley of Tareythang Secondary School in the second position.

A team comprising Aditya Thapa and Dewraj Dahal of Amba Secondary School won the senior quiz competition followed by team comprising Anugrah Adhikari and Rashi Gurung of Tareythang Secondary School.
The festival included career guidance by the officials of 69 Bn, SSB regarding various career opportunities available in SSB and other armed forces. Shri Ranga Nadh Chindara, 2nd in Command, Shri Sanjay Kumar, Dy. Commandant, Sub Inspector K Rinju and Constable Happy presented valuable insights to the students.
The festival was attended by Shri Amit Singh, Commandant, 69 Bn, SSB as the Chief Guest along with Dr. Subadra Dangal, Zilla Panchayat, Amba Taza TC, Shri Ranga Nadh Chintada, 2nd in Command, 69 Bn, SSB, Smt. Jamuna Sharma, VAA, Bering Tareythang GPU, teachers, students, and others.

The Chief Guest in his speech congratulated WSOS for organizing the event and encouraged participating students to take maximum benefits from such competitive events.
WSOS Co-founder Pranay Khatiwara thanked the Zilla Panchayat for her support in organizing the festival and congratulated the participating students for wonderfully displaying their competitive spirit. He also thanked 69 Bn SSB for their wholehearted support and guidance to the students.
The festival ended after the presentation of prizes and certificates to the winners and participants.
